BIOTIC CONDITIONS

Rodents abundance evaluation:

Breeding conditions:

Arctic Foxes had average or even high numbers in the north-eastern part of Yana River delta, where 2 inhabited dens (with minimum 6 and 4 pups) were surveyed beyond the flooded area in seaside tundra. A brood with 2 small pups was also seen in tundra, but some broods and adults foxes, presumably, died. Local trappers confirmed high density of Arctic Foxes in winter.
